Ivan Sobko Bio

Ivan grew up in Russia and has been a Richmond resident since 1998.

He joined the Riverside Mortgage Group in 2009. Ivan draws on his experience in different industries to provide the highest customer service possible, and leverages all his business and real estate knowledge gained over the years to provide professional service and advice to his clients.

His experience with Re/Max Westcoast Steveston Real Estate team as an Office Assistant has given him understanding of the real estate industry from direct experience (including real estate contracts, new project marketing, commercial leasing, land assembly, and more) to build on his academic knowledge of the industry.

Ivan has successfully completed the DULE (Diploma in Urban Land Economics) program at UBC – Specializing in Land Development and Commercial Property Management.

He has also obtained his Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) designation from Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals (CAAMP).

Outside of real estate, Ivan has a range of business experience. He organized and ran a successful computer repair business straight after high school and built on this experience by managing a small business specializing in air conditioning sales.
